I love Ellen Von Unwerth´s work. I´m not going to lie and say I always have. It took a bit to grow on me. But her work is sexy, playful, and extremely unique. I always admire photographers (and artists in general) who have work that you recognize immeditiately, whether you like it or not. I always find myself loving things that immediately shock and appall me just because I love feeling something that strong towards a piece of art. Fine, maybe I hate what you are doing, but I love you for catching my attention enough to hate it in the first place. Rarely do artists surprise anymore and Ellen (like David La Chapelle and a very few others) always deliver.
